America's Boating Course, which provides valuable information regarding boating safety and regulations on the water, is offered free of charge (except for the price of the book -- $35). New River Sail & Power Squadron holds classes in a variety of accessible locations including various branches of the Onslow County Public Library and the Sneads Ferry Community Center
Classes are open to all boaters, including children under 18 when accompanied by a parent.
